Tuition

The Keepers of the Earth 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course fee is $4750 for an eco-luxury camping option if payment is made before the final payment deadline of January 1, 2024. This constitutes the “EARLY BIRD” rate. Beyond the payment deadline, the FULL PRICE of the KotE YTT is $5100. A $1000 non-refundable deposit will be made upon acceptance into the program following intake form. This deposit applies towards the tuition. Application deadline is October 1, 2023 and acceptance letters will be sent out no later than October 30, 2023. A late penalty of $199 may apply for applications submitted after these deadlines. Payment must be made in full by January 1 to not incur additional penalties. This tuition covers all expenses during the training, including supplementary course materials, on-site meals and accommodation, and the Course Manual. Additional expenses NOT included in tuition is staff gratuity, transportation to and from the retreat site in Costa Rica, and other miscellaneous expenses.

Accommodation and Meals

This tuition fee includes your accommodation and meals. The meals are all sourced locally and made fresh every day by our on-site yogis. Food is mostly organic and vegetarian. Some meals may include local dairy or goat’s milk products and/or eggs. Only ingredients of the highest possible quality will be chosen. Dietary restrictions can be made with adequate notice.

How to Apply and Register

The first step of enrollment is to apply for the program. We have a selection process to ensure that the right people find and enroll in all KotE programs. You have until October 1 to submit your application, and an approval letter will be sent out no later than October 30th, 2023 stating that you have been accepted into the upcoming program. Once you are accepted, you will receive an Intake Form which will have payment instructions.

The Intake Form and a $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your enrollment.

In the event that you are accepted into the program but, for whatever reason, are unable to complete your payment, we ask that you please send a notice of withdrawal before December 1st so that we can offer this spot to those who may be on the waitlist.

We accept PayPal, Venmo, Wise, or Bank Transfer.

PAYMENT PLANS

A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due by everyone admitted into the program. During the Intake Form you can indicate if you will require a payment plan.

If a payment plan is requested, please add a $160 processing and administration fee to the total. 

Payments will be spread out over 5 payments, spaced evenly: one payment every two weeks (November 1, November 15, November 30, December 15, December 30).

Should a payment plan be requested, you are responsible for the fulfillment of the payment deadlines. Adequate notice must be made in the event that payment deadline cannot be fulfilled (at least one week in advance). 

Full Payment to Confirm Reservation

Your final payment is due by January 1, 2024.

Full payment will constitute a confirmation of your place in the course. If we don’t receive the final payment in full by January 1, 2024, you will forfeit your enrollment.

Keepers of the Earth is not responsible for payment errors, personal problems with credit card accounts, power outages, internet inaccessibility, bank holidays, etc. We intend to have given each person adequate time to make arrangements

We advise you to handle any payment issues in advance, as we cannot make an exception if you miss the final payment deadline.

Cancellation and Refund Guidelines

You may cancel your enrollment by emailing us.

Note that the following refund guidelines will apply.

Cancellation before the full payment deadline (January 1, 2024):
90% of any payments made towards tuition will be returned to you, minus the initial non-refundable deposit

Cancellation after full payment deadline (January 1, 2024):

  • 7 to 14 days before the course start date: 75% of any payments made towards tuition, minus the deposit, will be returned to you
  • 0 to 7 days before the course start date: 50% of any payments made towards tuition, minus the deposit, will be returned to you.
  • After check-in: No refunds or credits will be issued.

Selection Process

Keepers of the Earth School of Yoga & Mystical Arts will always strive to uphold the highest integrity for its programs and quality of learning and growth for its students and retreat participants. Due to our efforts to maintain a particular standard of experience, we implement a selection process which applies to every training and immersion that we offer. Our students are expected to pass through several layers from selection to graduation before they are certified as “Keepers of the Earth”.

We believe that to become a yoga teacher and community spiritual leader, it is very, very important that we take the path of our own spirituality and transformation seriously. Thus, the standards and processes that we implement at Keepers of the Earth School of Yoga and Mystical Arts are all designed to encourage your sincerity, honesty, determination, and commitment.
